Electrical Testing & Tagging

Guardian Safety Solutions (GSS) uses the latest, state-of-the-art portable appliance testers (PAT) to check on the integrity of the appliances and equipment by subjecting them to testing as required by Australian Standards. GSS testing includes:

Physical inspection;
Visual Inspections Include As per (AS 3760);
Insulation Tests;
Earth circuit Test;
Continuity Test;
Functionality Test;
Run / Leakage Test;
Polarity wire Test;

All electrical assets are tested and tagged with an identifiable bar code for continual identification purposes integrated into the GSS mainframe system.

The GSS Asset register and Test Certificates will include the following information:

Appliance bar code identity;
Description / serial number (if required);
Location
Inspection Test Date;
Next Inspection Test Date;
Results of Inspection / Test; and
Comments.
